Connecting a Sony PlayMemories camera via WiFi

There are different ways to connect a Sony PlayMemories camera to an iPhone or iPad, depending on the camera model.

Sony QX models

Please follow the instructions on Sony's website.

Sony Alpha, HX and RX models

• Start your camera
• Select [MENU] > Applications > Application List
• Select Smart Remote Control
• Use your iPhone/iPad and navigate to Settings App > WiFi
• Use the SSID (=WiFi name) and Password displayed on the camera's screen to find and connect to your camera's WiFi access point
• Open the GoCamera app on your iPhone/iPad
